Interviews
Eligibility
We are looking for people who moved to Toronto from Latin America in 2018 or later AND have found it hard to find housing since migrating.
This means one or more of the following:
- Being homeless.
- Sleeping in a shelter or hotel.
- Staying temporarily with friends or family
- Moving a lot (2+ times in a year)
- Being evicted
- Living in overcrowded housing
- Living in a home that needed significant repairs
- Living somewhere you didn’t feel safe
To participate, you must be:
- 18 years or older.
- Willing to participate in an interview lasting about 60 minutes.
The interview will include questions related to your migration trajectory, housing situation, and neighbourhood characteristics. All information is confidential.
Eligible participants who complete the interviews will receive an incentive worth 40$.
Survey (Now closed)
Eligibility
We are looking for people who moved to Toronto from Latin America in 2000 or later to hear about their experiences finding housing and accessing healthcare services.
To participate, you must be:
- 18 years or older.
- Willing to participate in a survey
The survey will include questions related to your migration trajectory, housing situation, neighborhood characteristics, and access to essential services. All information is confidential.
Eligible participants who complete the survey will receive an incentive worth 40$.
